USA "Great place to take your child”
This was my second time coming back to the Stargazer. It is s great place for families, and a value. The owners are very nice and have done a nice job remodeling the place and they keep it clean. It is an older property, like the old motor lodges I remember as a kid. The indoor pool and hot tub are great and my daughter loved it and got to meet many other kids. I drink a lot of coffee to keep up with my daughter and they were so nice to provide extra. When we left thus morning, my daughter said, baba, I want this to be our house Nothing fancy, but a great value and located close to everything.
USA "last minute trip for scuba”
Last minute need for 2 rooms close to Breakwater. Clean, updated, well stocked rooms, indoor pool a plus, friendly staff, walking distance to restaurants. Will stay there again.

I booked directly on the StarGazer Inn website and saved a considerable amount on my 3 night s stay. It was really nice talking to the staff who helped us to make our stay comfortable--they were extremely helpful with directions and suggestions of where to dine. We were surprised with the spacious hotel rooms. All in all, StarGazer is a good motel with budget accommodations that fit our needs for our family visit to Monterey.
USA "Clean and Convenient hotel ”
I was traveling alone and so I was looking for a clean and convenient hotel near Downtown Monterey while I was on a short business trip to town. Was lucky enough to find this hotel with a perfect location to accommodate all my needs. Very happy with service and staff for all their assistance. They had a satisfactory continental breakfast and the guest rooms were well appointed. I recommend the Stargazer Inn for corporate travel
